Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using MacNotch ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License grant
MacNotch grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on up to two (2) Mac computers you own or control, subject to these Terms and any applicable license or subscription you have purchased.
If you access MacNotch through Setapp, your use is governed by Setapp's terms in addition to these Terms.
3. Trial and payment
MacNotch offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial, continued use requires a one-time license purchase or an active monthly subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription management (cancellation, billing history) is available through the billing portal linked in the App.
4. Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Redistribute, sublicense, rent, or lease the App or your license key.
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
5. Intellectual property
All rights, title, and interest in and to MacNotch, including its code, design, and branding, remain with the developer. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
6. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how MacNotch handles (or does not handle) your data.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
MacNotch is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
9. Updates
The App may check for and install updates automatically via Sparkle. Updates may modify features and functionality. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately.
11. Changes to these Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
