Customize modules and behavior

Customize and configure

MacNotch is modular by design. You decide how busy the notch is, from bare essentials to a full command strip.

  • Modules: Turn Dashboard, Media, Calendar, Todo, Notes, Pomodoro, Day Progress, Bluetooth, Translation, AI Coding (Beta), Code hosting, Notifications, Live Activities, and the rest on or off. Reorder them, set which module opens by default, and hide what you do not need so the bar stays lean.
  • Dashboard & live strip: Arrange the four widget slots, switch profiles (including time-based switches), and control what shows in the collapsed strip: media, timers, events, shortcuts to apps, optional notices, and more.
  • Displays & behavior: Choose where the bar appears with Multiple Screens, adjust appearance, Drop Actions, and Snap Zones (window snap), and use other Settings panes to match how you work.

Open MacNotch → Settings (from the menu bar icon or by right-clicking the notch) whenever you want to change what MacNotch is for you.
